St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation launches its 2024-2025 fundraising campaign, “Your Family’s Health is Our Mission,” highlighting the hospital’s history and community impact at a reception for past donors in Salvati Hall with key remarks from hospital and foundation leaders.
Three nursing students from Buckhannon have been awarded $25,000 scholarships as the first recipients of St. Joseph’s Hospital’s Aspiring Nurses Program, a WVU Health System initiative aimed at reducing financial barriers and mentoring future healthcare professionals. Hailey Pugh, Emily Tackett, and Madisyn McDaniel will use this support to finish their nursing education and eventually serve the local community, inspired by family legacies and personal experiences.
Join the community for a 5K run/walk and health fair sponsored by WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital and West Virginia Wesleyan College on October 5. Participate in the race to benefit the School of Nursing or visit the free Health Fair with over 15 vendors and fun activities starting at 8 a.m.
