Elkins High School celebrated the unveiling of its new athletic field scoreboard, sponsored by Davis Health System and Citizens Bank of West Virginia, during the home opening football game. The dedication ceremony featured a special coin toss by DHS COO Mark Gilliam and Citizens Bank CEO Nathaniel Bonnell, marking a significant investment in the local community and its sports programs.

Governor Jim Justice and Secretary of Arts, Culture and History Randall Reid-Smith paid tribute to the victims of September 11 during a solemn bell-ringing ceremony at the West Virginia State Capitol Complex.
