MORGANTOWN — The West Virginia University (WVU) Jazz Ensemble has unveiled its latest musical offering, “Pinnacle,” a new album that captures the essence of jazz through the performances of its 2022-2023 students. Officially released on February 27 via Mon Hills Records, “Pinnacle” is now accessible across all major streaming platforms.

Directed by Dr. Jared Sims, the ensemble features a selection of the WVU School of Music’s most talented students, showcasing their skills and dedication to jazz. “Pinnacle” serves as a testament to the students’ hard work and their ability to perform at an exceptional level.
