Stonewall Resort to celebrate Independence Day holiday with two nights of fireworks, entertainment and festivities

Weston, W.Va. – Stonewall Resort will host Independence Holiday fireworks displays on two evenings, June 29 and July 6, complete with musical entertainment, food, and various festivities.

The public is invited to enjoy the fireworks for a $10 per car park admission fee, creating a memorable summer celebration.

“We’re excited to offer two brilliant fireworks displays this Independence holiday as well as opportunities for guests to enjoy special dining options, get out on the lake, explore our woodland trails, or play our championship Palmer Course,” said Andre D’Amour, General Manager.

The first fireworks show will take place on Saturday, June 29, at dark. DJ Alex O’Neal will entertain guests on the patio from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Lightburn’s Restaurant, recognized as one of the top 50 most beautiful restaurants in the nation by OpenTable and PEOPLE, will offer a featured menu and a prime view of the fireworks. That night, the live entertainment will include Stalnaker Hill from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The second fireworks show is scheduled for Saturday, July 6, at dark. DJ Alex O’Neal will return to the patio from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Lightburn’s Restaurant will host a Fireworks Dinner Party featuring a buffet of Appalachian ingredients and live entertainment by Chris Matheny from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Reservations are required for dining and other resort activities during the holidays and can be made by calling (304) 269-8880.

Throughout the Independence Holiday (June 28 – July 7), Stonewall Resort will offer activities for overnight guests including face painting, lawn games, and scavenger hunts. Both day guests and overnight visitors can purchase an Outfitters Pass for access to recreation equipment rentals such as kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards. Guests will also have access to the resort’s other amenities, including restaurants, the golf course recently ranked by Golfweek as one of the Best Public Access Golf Courses in the country, the marina, spa, hiking, and bike rentals.
